Optimal Airflow & Ventilation Solutions

Don't let your setup turn into a hot box. At Ventit3D we specialise in premium canopy ventilation solutions designed to optimise airflow, extract heat, and keep your gear cool and comfortable.

Create the Perfect Cross-Ventilation System

For the most effective temperature control, we recommend establishing a continuous flow of air through your canopy. The optimal setup involves pairing intake and flow vents:

Side Air Vents (Intake): Start with a set of our Original, Crossflow, or Round Side Air Vents.

Rear/Flow Vents: Pair them with one or two of our Mini, Slanted Mini, Maxi, or Slanted Maxi Air Vents to smoothly facilitate air distribution.

The Ultimate 12V Powered Exhaust Upgrade

Looking for maximum heat extraction? Upgrade your cooling system by integrating our 12V Powered Vent. Operating as a highly effective active exhaust, this is the ultimate 12V canopy vent solution for exhausting hot air out and maintaining lower internal temperatures.

Frequently asked questions

Which vents are intakes and which are exhausts?

The side-mount vents - the Original, the Crossflow and the Round One - are intakes. They mount vertically on the sides of a canopy, force air in as the vehicle moves, and let water drain back out. The rear-mount vents - the Mini, the Maxi, the Slanted Mini and the Slanted Maxi - are passive exhausts that let hot air escape. The Single 120mm and Dual 120mm are powered exhausts, which keep extracting air when the vehicle is parked and a passive vent has no airflow to work with. A canopy needs both halves to get a proper cross-flow: an intake on the side, an exhaust at the rear.

What is the difference between the Original, the Crossflow and the Round One?

All three are driver's and passenger's side intake vents. The Original is the square Version 2.0, with oval intake holes angled at 0, 5, 10, 15 and 20 degrees. The Round One is the circular version of the same design. The Crossflow keeps the Original's driver's side but changes the passenger's side to exhaust rearward, which suits caravan storage tunnels and 4x4 canopies where there is no room to mount a rear vent.

What size are the rear exhaust vents?

The Mini is 110 x 110 x 24mm and the Maxi is 136 x 136 x 24mm. The angular versions are larger: the Slanted Mini at 172 x 130 x 30mm and the Slanted Maxi at 182 x 148 x 31mm, both maximum dimensions. The powered 120mm vents sit 40mm maximum above the canopy skin. Every product page includes a dimensioned drawing.

Does everything needed for fitting come in the box?

Yes. Each vent ships with its filter, screen housing and screen, along with stainless steel M5 bolts for fitment. The Original Version 2.0 uses stainless M5 square nuts rather than heat-set inserts. The powered 120mm vents also include a right-angle DC power connector.

Why are the vents made from ASA-Glass Fibre?

ASA is the outdoor polymer of choice. It holds its colour and finish under permanent UV exposure instead of chalking, fading or going brittle, which is exactly what a vent bolted to the outside of a canopy has to survive in the Australian sun. The glass fibre reinforcement adds the stiffness and heat resistance to hold its shape and its seal through corrugations and through a summer parked in the open, at temperatures where ordinary print plastics such as PLA and PETG would soften. On the powered 120mm vents the exposed outer housing is ASA-Glass Fibre for the same reason, with an inner body that sits inside the canopy away from UV.

Unlike mass-produced, factory-made goods, every part of my products is individually handled by me. My pricing reflects this entire solo process: the time I spend on thoughtful design and building prototypes, the effort of sourcing the right materials from multiple suppliers, the hours it takes to carefully print each part on my machines, and the dedicated personal labour I invest into the final assembly, packaging and postage.
