Triple Anderson Mount
Triple Anderson Mount
Couldn't load pickup availability
A tough, flush-mount housing for a 3-pin 50 amp Anderson connector, to run positive, negative and a dedicated ignition wire to the 12V system in the back of a canopy, caravan or trailer through a single connector.
This price includes the 50 amp Anderson connector plus pins — one housing purchased comes with one connector, in either:
- Pos – Neg – Ign — labelled face
- Blank — unlabelled
Why a dedicated ignition wire
A dedicated ignition wire is the cleanest way to trigger a DC/DC charger. The charger only wakes when the vehicle is running, so you get the best charge available while driving, without the worry of the crank battery being drained while the vehicle sits.
Doing it through a single 3-pin connector means one plug to pull when the canopy comes off, rather than a separate trigger lead hanging loose.
Features
- Connector included — the 3-pin 50 amp Anderson connector and pins come with the housing
- Three poles in one plug — positive, negative and ignition, not three separate connectors to keep track of
- Labelled face so the pin order is obvious at a glance
- Slanted profile that sheds water rather than letting it sit on the connector
- Light but tough — just 75 g complete, with the strength coming from glass fibre reinforced ASA rather than bulk
- Mounts inside or outside a canopy or structure
- Tough, UV-resistant ASA-Glass Fibre built for the Australian sun
- A single 25 mm round cutout through the panel for the cables
- Australian made, with free postage Australia-wide

- Dual Cable Inlet — sealed pass-through where you don't need a plug at all
Important to note
Any opening cut into a canopy, caravan or structure has the potential to leak if it is incorrectly installed, not properly sealed, submerged, or exposed to high-pressure water such as a pressure washer or car wash. All 12V circuits should be correctly fused and installed to a suitable standard. You are responsible for correct installation, sealing, and periodic inspection for wear, damage and seal integrity.
Frequently asked questions
How does the Triple Anderson Mount improve my 12V setup?
It brings your power and a dedicated ignition wire into one flush-mounted connection point on the canopy. A separate ignition wire is the reliable way to trigger a DC/DC charger, so it only draws while the engine is running and your auxiliary battery is not being pulled down while the vehicle sits parked.
Can I have the terminals labelled?
Yes. Choose Blank, or Pos - Neg - Ign if you want the terminals marked. The lettering is formed into the housing as part of the print rather than applied as a sticker, so it will not peel or wear off.
What is included when I buy a Triple Anderson Mount?
The price includes the Anderson connector and its pins, in your choice of Blank or Pos - Neg - Ign, along with a template for marking the mounting holes.
Can it be mounted on the outside of my canopy?
Yes. It is printed in UV-stable ASA-Glass Fibre, which holds its colour and finish under permanent sun exposure instead of chalking or going brittle, so it works equally well inside or outside the canopy.
Is it difficult to install?
No. A template is supplied for marking the holes and the housing mounts with four M5 bolts. A drill and a screwdriver are all you need.
How do I run the cables through?
The rear of the housing leaves clear space for you to drill a pass-through hole into the canopy or structure for your cabling.
