Yes, no problem at all. It is equally suited to either, so mount it wherever it makes sense for your build.
Can I have custom text or a logo on the cover?
Yes, custom text and logos can be done depending on the design. Get in touch before ordering so we can check it will come out cleanly at this size.
How do I install it?
It fixes with six stainless steel M5 bolts, and a simple template is provided so you can mark and drill the holes accurately.
How do I get the cables through the canopy?
The rear of the housing has space provided for two 25mm holes to be drilled through the canopy or structure for the cables to pass through.
